Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center (Pazhou Complex) is the largest exhibition center in Asia as of January 2009. The total construction area of the exhibition hall is 1.1 million square meters, the total area of indoor exhibition hall is 338,000 square meters, and the area of outdoor exhibition hall is 43,600 square meters.
Among them, the area of indoor exhibition hall in area A of exhibition hall is 130,000 square meters, and the area of outdoor exhibition hall is 30,000 square meters; the area of indoor exhibition hall in area B is 128,000 square meters, and the area of outdoor exhibition hall is 13,600 square meters; the area of indoor exhibition hall in area C is 80,000 square meters. 

On June 19, 2014, the fourth-phase expansion plan of the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center was approved. After the fourth-phase construction, the exhibition area will reach 500,000 square meters, exceeding the 470,000 square meters in Hanover, Germany; the entire Pazhou area will reach 660,000 square meters. The scale is the largest in the world.
