The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), with the English name "National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai)" and "NECC (Shanghai)" for short, is located in Shanghai, China. It is a comprehensive convention and exhibition complex integrating exhibition, conference, office and business services. It is also one of the landmark buildings of Shanghai. 
The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) started construction on December 26, 2011; it was completed on September 28, 2014; and it was fully operational on December 1, 2016.
The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) is a large-scale exhibition complex project jointly established by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in 2011. The total investment is about 16 billion yuan. The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Invest in construction and operation. On January 6, 2020, it was selected as one of the top ten landmark buildings in Shanghai in 2019.
